There is a natural reserve that is located an hour from the hotel.  There you can observe some 425 species of birds, including native and migratory.  It is one of the spectacular route for those who love to observe birds and photography.

The high biodiversity is not limited to the groups already mentioned.  There exist a reported 107 species of birds on the reserve and 187 for the region.  Also, one can mention the Penelopina negra, 9 different species of humming birds, 3 species of parrots and parakeets and various species of Falconiformes.
