Each suite is different so that your stay in the Cacike Resort will be unique and individual.

On terrace number nine at the site of the Tak'alik Ab'aj Archeological National Park, you can spend your days in a resort that is in the Mayan style, where each suite is an actual interpretation of a room from the Royalty of Tak'alik Ab'aj. Each one of the suites is built in to the mountain and constructed with regional materials by local artisans.

From the sound of a sweet mountain rain, to the smell of wet earth and the sounds of the regional fauna, (for the most part birds and many small mammals that inhabit the region), guests will be able to enjoy nature's splendor. Here, you will be able to understand the significance of Guatemala, the name of this beautiful country, that means "home of the forests".

Each suite comes with a private bathroom, hot water, your own porch and private entry. The lighting is provided by chandeliers and oil lamps, which are lit at sunset as well as are the torches along the pathways.
