Relive the history in the Hacienda Montes Eliseos and it will be unforgettable. 

In the afternoon, you will be able to sit and admire the return of hundreds of tropical birds to their nests across the "Bird Corridor", while enjoying an aromatic cup of coffee and a "champurrada", a sweet cookie made by the locals.

 

At the end of the journey, enjoy cooling off in the hacienda's pool.

 

 

A walk in the past from which you will never want to return...old fashioned hospitality, courtesy, and friendliness-all from the heart.. The aromas from the coffee, the flowers, and the grains from the first moments of the toasting, all make one feel this experience with all of their senses.

The coffee walk is located in an old coffee-growing plantation founded at the end of the nineteenth century, regarded as La Finca Montes Eliseos. The main part of the farm has been rejuvenated in order for the visitor to feel as did the farmers of the eighteenth century.  In El Paseo Del Cafe, one can meet and coexist with the "coffee people" who will introduce you to the plantations and teach you the ancestral processes of the removal of the pulp, the drying, and the toasting of the bean.  You will learn about the overall production of a good cup of gourmet coffee.
